Cheick Kongo "Give me the tittle"?
« on: August 10, 2008, 10:00:17 AM »
This guy cracks me up. He has one notable win over Crocop, after kicking him in the balls about nine times, and loses to Herring via decision and then tko's Emmerson, a nobody, and thinks he is the best HW in the world.  "I'm the best, go ahead and give me the title"  are you serious?

lesnar v kongo now !!!

That's the most logical next step for Lesnar.  They would'nt dare throw him in with someonce like Werdum, Veras' next fight is against Jardine, Randy is tied up in legal turmoil, Nog/Mir are taken.  Imagine what he would have done to old man Coleman had he not been injured?  That's pretty much the UFC heavyweight division in a nutshell, they're still trying to build Cain Velasquez so I don't he's ready yet.  That's a pretty shallow pool if you ask me.

Wow.  We wouldn't have even been having this conversation a week ago.  There were so many Brock haters here I can't list them all, and now he is the second coming.  He changed a lot of minds Saturday night, and props to him for it.  He has a long way to go before Big Nog, but I really think that losing to Mir was the best thing that could have happened to him. And for MMA as well.  MMA is a legit sport and you can't just be big and strong and think that will carry you through. You have to train your ass off the be successful in this world, jocks and bullies wearing tapout shirts just won't cut it. And being in the UFC is good for him too.  If it was EliteXC they would be handing him cans to throw around and it would make him think he is a lot better than he really is.
