Officiating at UFC 87

Does anyone else think that the officiating was decent at the PPV?  I was really waiting for some lame ref to stop the Herrring or the GSP fight, but they didn't and I was glad.  Eves Lavigne did a great job and let the fights go on.  Fitch is a tough SOB and I wouls not have been surprised if the fight had gotten stopped after a few of those punches cleaned his house.  But good job on the officials.

On a side note, did anyone else catch when Rogan was trying to get Kongo to look at the replay of the knockout and Kongo walked off, so Joe said "Or not"  and went on with the description anyway, that was hilarious.

Yeah, I agree, they let the fights go and it was a good move.  The GSP/Fitch fight, Lesnar/Herring, even KenFlo/Huerta, there was some ass-kicking going on and they gave these guys a chance to recover.  Great officiating.  Maybe its because we don't have "Big John McCarthy" anymore diving in like a linebacker everytime a guy gets a little woozie.
