Is muscle tech OVER -priced? anyone use HALO?
« on: April 21, 2008, 11:27:31 AM »
The muscle tech line seems ok but I find it a bit too expensive and shy away from it.
I feel you can get the same stuff for a lot less money in a variety of other brands? true??.
Anyone use that new stuff called HALO< what is it?
Thanks, Howard

Anabolic Halo will make your dick grow 10 inches. no lie
That kind of claim seems reasonable compared to the rest of muscletech claims.

it has many contraindicated supplements in it, and is a garbage bag supplement with products that do opposing things. Its a cluster fuck of underdosed supps, and is not worth a penny.

Ive got a friend who is very clued up , helps a lot of local guys compete. He has his own store. They gave him a Halo to try out as he stocks Muscletech. he phoned me up to say he had gained 2.5kgs in a month off it. Now I take his word as normally he slates anything that doesnt work and has no vested intrest in Muscletech.

Guys hate on Muscletech but have never used it.  I use Leukic on a month to month bases and it works great. I also use gear , Ive competed and I know my body well. Im not going to waste money on products that dont work for me. Ive used some products like NaX9 which did nothing for me. In all fairness the products are expensive but I find that the return I get on what I spend makes them worth while for me personally. Products I use on a month to month are. Vitargo , a good whey protein , Leukic , fish oil , and multivit. Every now and again I try something new out to see what its like.

Weird I've never gotten anything good out of muscle tech, first tried leukic and gakic together about two years ago, lifted the same and just as hard and my strength went down, I took it til the bottles were gone and didnt see anything out of it except an empty wallet.  Same for Cell tech nothing but sugar...

Timing is everything!!! I got Anabolic Halo and Nano Vapor, when both were marked down, during Gold Card week, and when MuscleTech was having the "Buy one; get one 50% off sale" on its products.

Anticipating that it would taste vile, after my previous experiences with both Anator P-70 and powdered Gakic, I mixed Halo with my protein powder that I use after training. If you like taking a post-workout drink with a dozen cough drops, Anabolic Halo is right up your alley.

very overpriced that being said i saw good results with cell tech the original cell tech, the one that burnt you throat going down. But the amount of sugar in it could make you diabetic shit...

Simple facts - Muscletech stuff is good but is over priced. If you get it cheap its great! Same goes for BSN - Good Products but expensive.

That depends on the flavor. The throat-burning stuff happened with the orange and fruit-punch versions. But, I've never experienced that with grape or lemon-lime. I've never tried the Blue Raspberry one. When GNC starts marking them down, I may give it a whirl.

Yeah i have tried the HALO it tastes like shit mixed with a million cough drops,
It gave me TERRIBLE heartburn when taken after workout and made me very slugish ( All the sugar in it )

Also did nothing for size OR strength.

A serving of CELL-TECH has 75 grams of dextrose. If you're comparing "sugar", that's roughly the equivalent of two 12-oz sodas. Guys drink WAY more than that, when they get fountain drinks from the gas station/convenience store.
