I was thinking the same... is he going to move to Cal or stay in NY?

Conan already bought a new multi milion dollar home in LA, the show will stay in Burbank (until the move in a couple years to new digs down the street).

I wonder if Max & co will follow. The NBC building Leno is in right now was sold a couple of months ago if I remember correctly.

I just hired Leno to be the jokmaker at my wedding. Lots of fat and racial jokes coming.

It's a known fact Carson always wanted Letterman to do The Late Show.
Leno's not nor has he ever really been funny.

As for Kev and the band? Good riddance.

I would love to have half of Leno's car collection and of course the jet sport bike!! ;)

Leno is a hack who plays well to middle Americans who like his so-called humor.  Conan has always been much braver with his sense of humor, even during his days as a writer for The Simpsons.  His brand of humor plays to a similar audience that Letterman played to in the 80's.  It just took NBC a while to give alternative humor a chance for its biggest late night franchise.

Leno is #1 by a wide margin.

Lettermans is very unfunny and not even #2, he gets beat by Nightline for the lowly #3 spot.

It'll be interesting to see.

Looks like Jimmy Fallon beat me for the late night spot. They said my accent was too tick.

It'll be interesting to see Conan take over the tonight show.  Personally, I love his self-deprecating humor.  That's his main schtick, and it works for his niche audience.  I don't know how well that will appeal to a "mainstream" audience, though...you know, people that go to bed before 1 am ;D

agreed!

You can usually divide people into two distinct groups by who they like...Leno or Letterman.

The same is seen with those that like The Simpsons OR Seinfeld
just not good enough

It'l be interesting to see what type of format they decide to go with.
