Vince was godly once upon a time.....consistently high placer early to mid 90s........then, the insulin and GH came.....destroyed his wonderful lines and aesthetics...

That pic is Vince.
He is an example to all pros in all respects. One of the few with a great personality too. Re his lines - Stay Tuned, Vince will "Be Back" in 2009 better than ever after 2 years of major back problems to take advantage of the new (quality/symmetry) Era ... You heard it here first  ;)

the real VT?....fair enough.....he'd know the hell better than I.....not sure what show it was, but he came in somewhat bloated and I hadnt seen him for years....the contrast shook me

Btw, he got robbed at the 1994 Arnold classic........awesome routine, best condition

Yup, that was Vince's reply to your post. Hey, you forget how tight and ripped the likes of Vince get when they've nailed it for a show. If he missed his peak or blew it with a poor choice of pre-contest food then he would have blown up and looked bloated. Don't be like so many on here and go straight for the dangerous drugs option. Vince's longevity and of course the fact that he's a family man mean he won't go messing with the dangerous options!

Yeh he was robbed at the '94 Classic AND at the '95/'96 (can't remember which) British Grand Prix where he murdered Yates in every area and they gave it to him on the previous week's Olympia result!

Vince never used GH or insulin.  Whoever said that is talking out of his ass.  The man had genetics that were simply unbelievable.  I used to see him quite often in the gym at Lee Haney's Animal Kingdom when he was in town. I used to think "if this guy actually trained HARD he would be unstoppable."   His training always looked like 2 hours of just warm up sets.   He did nothing but cables and machines.  I once asked him if he ever used free weights and he said "only for photo shoots".

But everyone rides Arnolds jock like he just won a major pro contest last week.  I dont mind hearing about anyone as long as its not Arnold. He still gets covers and talked about constantly and he is 61 ???????????????????????????????? At least Vince is still in the game and with class.

i think i remember him saying he  tore his bicep backstage at a guest posing using a 8 lb dumbbell.
