I ordered this one cause it can supposedly steam off wallpaper too:

http://www.amazon.com/Wagner-282004-500-Watt-Demand-Steamer/dp/B000I618NY/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1227015932&sr=8-1

 In your face STella!!
   ;D

Have you tried it yet?  Not for wallpaper, but for everything else, esp. floors.  I'm thinking of asking for one for X-Mas.

I just got it in yesterday, haven't taken it out of the box yet.  Will probably test it out this weekend. Wallpaper and other attachments.

I gave it a trial this morning, not wallpaper but using in the kitchen and bathroom.  I was very happy.  :)  It seemed to do a good job.  It loosened the soap that runs down from the soap dish like nothing!  I steamed the area then wiped away.  What I would have used to use cleanser on and elbow grease seemed to come off pretty easily.  I found that steaming and then wiping with a sponge was the way to go.  I even steam cleaned my tiolet!    ;D    I did try the floor thing just to try it, I didn't do the whole floor, and that worked good too. I think having some extra of the cloth you put on would be nice, I might order some extra of those.  Depending on the floor (mine sees a lot of traffic right from outside so it gets dirty) I don't like the thought of using one for the whole floor, steam or no steam!  But it did do a nice job.   So even though I bought it to do wallpaper and I haven't tried that yet, even if it sucks at that I am glad I bought it.  It says it has up to 45mins of continuous steam which is nice also.   Like Stella had mentioned about hers it did say to let it cool down for 20mins before opening and refilling, but I think that would be true with any of them, and 45 mins of CONTINUOUS steam is a pretty long time.  I think for general cleaning I could do everything I wanted to with it in that time.

Was there something in particular you wanted to use it for? I could test it out!

Bump so Princess L doesn't miss it!   :)

I tried it on the bird cages today (birds not in the cages of course  ::)).  It did a good job.  I like being able to clean and sanitize their cages without having to use any chemicals.   I wouldn't use it every week on their cages, but once or twice a month probably when I want to get them really good and sanitize their perches and boings and toys, etc.

Thanks!  :D

I'm thinking I'd use it on anything and everything  ;D

For sure the kitchen and bathroom floors, and the showers, one which is a glass enclosure (hard water spots).  Sinks, toilets, oven (even though it's a self cleaner, I never use that).  Wondering if it might work on the fireplace hearth  :-\ which is stone.   Windows? hmmmm, wheels on the car? Maybe even the garage floor in the spring  ;D  No wallpaper.

I've been looking for one locally like at Home Depot with no luck  :'( but I've seen the Shark for much cheaper than on line.

I'm pretty sure if I had one of these that eventually I'd get bored and test my cats threshold to pain with it ..
