I guess you missed each fighter's last fight..you know the one where rampage lost the title and silva annihilated Jardine in 36 seconds..  ::)

I don't think Wandy will use the same strategy as Forrest.  He won't be on his bike, he won't circle away, he will stand in the pocket, trade and look to clinch.  NO WAY Wandy takes it to the ground.  His hate for Quinton will get him caught.

I know but still.
Silva isn't the  absolute nr 1 LHW he was in his pride days.

ortiz beat Wandy before he started his tear in pride so actually anyone could make a case for him really not being #1 back then

Tito had the perfect gameplan of lay and pray.  Wandy did have him rocked on one occasion.  The fight that Wandy got dominated in was the Vitor fight.  Clean KO.

I know, but the point I was making Wandy used to be to LHW some years ago while rampage wasn't even top ten. Now rampage is top 5 and Silva certainly ain't nr 1 at this point.
I'm hoping Silva wil regain his nr 1 spot though.

love this card who you guys got?I'm pickin some upsets.

Mir def. Nog
forrest def. rashad
wanderlei def. Rampage.

not very popular picks but we will see.

Mir underdog for sure.
1st) I would not  consider Forrest  the underdog, he is the Champ (don't forget he beat Shogun and Rampage)
2nd) Vanderlei beat the shit out of Rampage twice ,how he could be the underdog ???
3rd) A fight is a fight anything can happen

heres the odds. forrest, big nog and wandy are the favorites. personally think that matt hamill is the a lock for the win and should be more of a favorite. look for Al Turk to upset.

Rashad Evans +110 v. Forrest Griffin -140
Frank Mir +300 v. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira -400
Quinton Jackson +110 v. Wanderlei Silva -140
Mike Massenzio +150 v. C.B. Dollaway -180
Mostapha Al Turk +250 v. Cheick Kongo -330
Dean Lister +220 v. Yushin Okami -300
Mike Wessel +300 v. Antoni Hardonk -400
Reese Andy +180 v. Matt Hamill -220
Brad Blackburn +130 v. Ryo Chonan -160
Dan Evensen +130 v. Pat Barry -160

I like those odds on Lister. He's a super dangerous submission guy and if he can get it to the ground there's a good chance he could finish it.

tito told me about his fight with wandy, also dana was sitting next to me and was tito,s manager when that fight took place.anyway tito said wandy was to hard to take down from going straight on with a double or single leg.he said his camp developed a gameplan of takin wandy down using side takedows, shooting to the outside and trying to take wandy down from there using ankle pics, singles mostly.he said everytime wandy threw one of his wide looping shots tito was going to put his head slightly down and try to make wandy break his hand on top of tito,s rock head, lol.i asked tito who was the hardest hitting fighter he fought so far, lets not forget this was back in 2001,he said wandy no doubt.phil baroni showed up and he and tito where kickin it awhile,i talked to dana for awhile and the man is totally cool.tito was cool also and baroni was nice to.baroni is a piece of work, hes stealing ufc tee shirts when dana walked away,he stuffed about 50 tee shirts in his girlfriends pocketbook, lol.this was at hooters in manhatten, new york in november 2001.it was a really cool night for me since im a mma junkie,i mean hanging with tito, dana, baroni for 5 hours or so was a blast.

This would be a good card to bet on page I think.... if you got some extra money laying around.

I notice a lot of people on the internet are talking about Al Turk getting the win. I am not sure what the rationale is for this.  ??? I think many are dismissing Kongo due to his recent losses, but I don't think he is done just yet. I just seems it is an anti-Kongo pick rather than a pro-Al Turk pick, but I don't know much about Mostapha.
