tito ortiz knocked wandy down with a nice shot on the chin when they fought for the vacant title in ufc japan,and lets be real here,i cant remember the last time tito knocked somebody down from the stand up.wands chin is not as good as people make it out to be,the thing that saved him was that he recovered fast from a knockdown.theres nothing wrong with standing by your fighter when he losses, but just keep it real,even wandy admitted rampage has good skill and threw a sweet hook and caught him.in his post fight interveiw he was asked if rampage was lucky and wandy said no,he aint makin excuses so i dont think it looks to good when his fans try to make excuses for him.i like wandy,ive always enjoyed his fights and liked him as a person but all fighters lose at some point,wandy goes out to entertain the fans and youll never see a boring fight when hes in the cage.im not counting him out cause hes a tough guy but if he wants to be on top again he should sharpen up his boxing alittle,start throwing straighter punches and use more foot and head movement.when he was younger he used to get away with some of those flaws cause of his speed,but age is knockin at his door and hes gonna have to make a few small adjustments to stay competetive in that weight class.imo he will always be remembered as one of the toughest/aggressive guys ever to step foot in a mma ring/cage.
