I think it's just taken at such an angle that you can't see his front delts that well.

Optical illusion..he is short ....for example, Jean Paul Guillaume dressed you could not tell he was a bb...not in a shirt but like with a jacket in contest shape depleted

He's bringing his shoulder blades together in the back in an attempt to flare out his lats more, but he's sacrificing width. He's been hitting it like that ever since he (seemingly) damaged his lat.

This is how he used to hit it. But even here you can see the beginnings of damage.

Ya, the arms look strange there thanks to lat puffery at the expense of the arms looking worse. Plus the arms are too small in size relative to the torso and legs to begin with.

He looks like shit there, overall. Looks like he's in his late 50s in recent shots.

Personally i'm still a big fan of Branch, but I'd prefer him to hit the shot correctly at the expense of flaring his lats because it looks better in general.
