Ok this has been posted twice so far in this thread.  Sounds like pure bullshit to me and from what I've read on Komono dragons.  Post up a source?  Their venom is in fact poisonous.  What the hell kind of bacteria would they get that is deadly from eating raw meat?  E coli?  LMAO!  I eat raw meat and if I bite someone I aint going to kill them let alone paralyze them. .  Same with dogs, same with wolves etc.

I had to get rid of the snake several years ago when I moved to New York, but she was about 12 feet by that time. Back in Florida now, just have the Black throat monitor lizard from the Pic on the first page of this thread. He's about 6 feet stretched out. But many years ago I had various types of Iguanas, Alligators, snakes. Problem is when most girls would come over and see that shit, they thought I had to be some sort of psycho.

haha i know, you tell anyone you have snakes and they think theres something wrong with you. i used to have several snakes including a boa (standard columbian) and a retic that got to 10 feet before i had to give him away. they are awesome, as soon as i have a big enough place im gonna get another. thats a damn big monitor..can you actually handle it? dont its claws rip you up?

He lets me hold him for a little bit but eventually gets squirmy and that's when the claws become hazardous. I've had it since it's a hatchling ( 8 years old now) so he's pretty tame. Usually feed him ground lean meat instead of live animals.

I think you're wrong. I've never had reptiles to get attention. In fact, only my close friends have ever seen my pets. I've always loved dinosaurs and my lizard is as close as you can get to that. He's a great pet. You don't have to get up and walk him in the morning, he hangs out in my back yard, he's supercool. I understand most people aren't into it, just as I don't understand people who want to put tattoos all over their body, but I won't insult them for it. I've had this lizard from the day he hatched out of an egg, so it's not like he was plucked from a jungle.
