Okay Ladies...

I will be the first to admit that I was so on board with Ron's attempt to have a ladies presence here but yet I put my heart and thoughts out here and had them trashed and abused by some of the garbage that overflows Getbig now days.  I think I had one of the first few posts on this board, I was excited about it at one time.
 
I will tell Ron the proverbial "F*ck You" for letting his site go to the gimmicks and garbage of the other sites out there.

But even as blatantly oblivious to the Getbig world as I am even I can see what has become of this place and I hang my head in shame for caring.
Am I over reacting?  Am I dead on the money?  I really don't care!!!!

I miss Laura, Tasha, STella, LindaXXX and even Flower (Weed) who wished I got run over by a truck.

There was a time that this board was fun and a place for great advice.... What happened?

If not for the few guys who post here this board would be less active then the Titus and Ryan board.

Am I on the money?  or am I over reacting?

I will hound the F*CK out of Ron and get this board hidden if that is what it takes to have a place where we can feel free

I agree that GB is kinda lame lately.  Alot of the old funny posters have left, and a bunch of gimmicks have pretty much taken over. 

All of the flaming and insults are played out for the most part, it's kind of tiresome and boring now.   Some people have resorted to posting personal information in attempts to pwn people, and it just turns everyone off and drives people away.  Alot of legit people have been driven off the board by assholes as well. 

I miss some of the girls too.  SOME of them, not all. 

But it seems like the board comes and goes in waves... so who knows, maybe it'll pick up again.

OS .. you show your heart with posts like this .. I don't think you do that often or without great forethought .. I may be way off but you always seem to prefer to have people at arms length and unknowing about how much you actually "feel" about things .. so KUDOS to you for this thread



I think rip summed it up pretty good  ... 

I stop by and begin to read posts and feel like there's a whole lotta hate oozing out of some ,too much infantile stalking  and very little humor .. my way of thinking is I am OCD with a huge side of ADD .. so I try to keep hate and bullshit out of my thoughts so why wade thru the mire to find the gems


Taking into account it's Getbig ( Welcome to the Thunderdome ) I still say that even with all the old ownings etc. there was some genuine good people just strongly disagreeing .. and teh funny was mixed in

now with pre-teen gimmicks it's like shark infested waters , they prowl and continue to dish out the same lame crap , trying to draw blood , haunting posters from thread to thread causing conversations to just end


There's lots of good people here , but there's also too many unfunny children

And I think Laura is just busy but also relaxing?  I don't know of any reason other than those that she has not posted more lately.  And I figure Tasha is inactive here because her daughter is her priority.

When this board started we had a lot of great, funny posters like Always Sore, Al-Gebra, Oldschool, Yomama, Migs etc (Migs is back ) and it was pretty fun.  But the whole of getbig is different right now as rip said a lot of the great ones are gone.

Plus, a lot of the gals aren't as active...Deedles, Jag, etc...and when flower doesn't post, the boards are just more boring imo. 

I do feel that just having ladies only would make this place more of a ghost town..jmo, and I could be wrong.

Sigh.  I agree, this place has really gone down hill.  I miss some of the quality posters and find myself communicating via PM more and more; and if I'm doing that I might as well just stay in touch with them via email, right?

I miss getting ripped apart on here when trying to figure out girls.     There would be swarms of women on here chiming in, but it was a real eye opener.

Yeah we men have jumped in here but most, if not all, are well-intentioned and stay civil.  There are always douches but I think most males on here ask legit questions from the people they are trying to understand...women.  Thanks for answering the questions ladies.

It was a nickname I got when playing rugby in Samoa. My mother is irish, my biological father scottish but my mother re-married when I was 2yrs old to a Samoan that was in the US Military. I'm think Im the only irish / scot that speaks samoan...lol

Size wise..Im a small "samoan". Im 6' tall, 236lbs @ 22%bf ...I have been out of the gym for about 6 months due to injury but average for me is about 218-223 @ 13-15%...I've never gotten into the single digits as I am a slave to the lagers
