Cold days at the beach!

today its a brisk windy 60 degrees here in MD and it reminded me of Ocean City MD. I'm all for sunny 80 degree days by the beach but usually its too bright for me and i'm always squinting or if i'm wearing shades then the water gets on em and leaves little specks of sand and salt....which i find annoying.

nothing like a windy blustry 50 degree day on the beach , with low hanging clouds walking quietly in your winter coat hearing the roar of the ocean  :)

not whining...just missing my beach! and really bored...its such a "take a walk on the empty boardwalk munching on pretzils" sorta day

Been there many times as a kid but it got to commercial so we starting going to the outer banks

usually now a days i NEVER go below 60th street...i'm mostly up around 100th street close to DE..and you are right though...its gotton trashy...but i usually take the route 90 bridge instead of staying on 50 which drops me on 60th street and head north....

if i do make it to the boardwalk its only to get thrashers fries  ;D

usually the line is a block and a half long!  i dunno what they do to those fries but no other place sells boardwalk fries that taste like that.

if ya get a chance look up captains galley off of route 50...its behind the marina...great food 8)

i lived in North Ocean pines for a bit!

thats the thing...NO other fries i've had taste quite like them...plus with some old bay and vinegar (old bay on fries is a maryland thing)...they come out piping hot and you scald your mouth and hands trying to shovel a mouthfull but ya endure the pain cause they r just that good... :)
