Heel all the way. Its easier to wire up the crowd and be hated then it is to be loved and cheered by others.

I'm not sure, I think it could be cool to be a heel for a while, it'd be fun to really get some hate from the crowd, but I think long term I'd prefer to be a face, it must be a great feeling to get a huge pop every time you come out.

I think heel. Or a guy that goes by his own drum beat like Randy Savage, HBK, or The Undertaker. But as the famous quote from Hot Rod goes, "When I'm good I'm good. But when I'm bad? I'm even better!" Heel would be more fun I think. I'd love to Wrestle in Canada and tell the crowd how much I hate the place! Or like Rick Rude insulting every place he went.

I like the idea of being a guy who is kinda both, a bit like HHH is now, where you can do whatever and still the crowd love you for it.

Just study Hall and Nash from the WCW/NWO days.
They were supposed to be heels, but still came out using popular catch phrases, etc. to elicit pops from the fans.
I’d imagine a lot of guys enjoy those pops.

Triple H was like that for a while, too, after WMXIV when he teamed with Road Dogg, Billy, and Waltman.
Later, though, he abandoned all the stuff that got face pops and became a true heel by making it impossible to cheer anything he did.
Austin was the antithesis – he was cheered for anything and everything so they made him a face.
That had to have been a fun-ass gimmick to work.

Heel any day. Lot more fun and you can take out your
 daily frustrations on the crowd

Do you think it could get too much when people are harassing and abusing you in the street?  Or even trying to fight you like with Jericho?  I think that could get you down after a while.

Since most of the general population has been “smartened up,” I think you see much less of this kind of thing than you did 20 years ago.

Obviously it still happens; i.e. Jericho’s incident, but cases like that are far fewer and very isolated.
Most people now accept that it’s just a show.

I’d be spending more time watching the Divas workout.
 ;)

But yeah – it’d be interesting to see what kinds of poundages Show can toss around in the gym. Keep us posted.

Guys like my dad used to have to deal with that shit all the time.  You just have to be tough and pick and choose your battles. That worse thing that could happen is this big ugly heel who beats the shit out of everyone gets beat up in some bar but the towns tuff guy. That you do not want to happen.
