Spending forecasts released by the administration
« on: May 12, 2009, 07:32:19 AM »
"The administration on Monday revised its deficit forecasts upward to project an imbalance this year of $1.84 trillion, four times last year's record deficit, and said the deficits will remain above $500 billion every year over the next decade".
-------------------------

To me, the rate of spending trumps all other issues right now.  Social security and medicare are also going to fail in the next few years and nothing has been done to address that issue.

bump for a response from the obamabots about this...

This is exactly what many of us where saying, this is exactly what many of us were bitching about under the last month or so of the bush administration.

These numbers are certain to go up as other things arise i mean goodness gracious

There is nothing to respond to.  The facts speak for themselves.

tony, that is exactly right.  This is my biggest criticizm of the Obama administration.  The spending is way out of hand and we will have negative consequences.  This is exactly why many of us were critical of Bush in his second term, but Obama is spending way more and the spending does not let up for 10 years!  Thats astonishing.

I will.  I listened to a couple of his webcasts and they were great.
