what major newspaper shares your views bbuilding is a sport?

a silly statement.

That would make Levrone an athlete, same with kamali same with kenny jones etc

LA times, new york Times, pitsburgh post gazette are 3 that I saw

a silly statement is thinking posing is not a skill when you clearly lacked posing skills

i'm not putting you down, you just didn't have posing skills

you can learn them if you want, but just like all sports some are better than others :)

Most definitely a male beauty pageant.

No objectively judged competition involved, no doubt about that.

A pageant....no doubt. Some of you are bothered by this....but the truth is usually tough.

The great thing about sport is that on the day, anybody can win it.  They've all got a fair go at it.  Some teams/individuals will be better prepared/richer but when they step out onto the field anything can happen.  Thats sport.

There is no sport in any activity where ripoffs are flippantly pointed out to be handicapping newcomers in order to encourage them to pay their dues.

"Its ok bro, he just has to pay his dues" -

Hah, the "sport" of idiots.  It would be an insult to intelligence but most of you know just how poor the intellectual capacity of your average bodybuilding fan is (judging by the average level here and on other boards).

Boxing is not a sport either, points mean nothing, it's anyone's guess who's judging, haha

"Paying your dues" only exists if you're a moaning loser, like "man I had myself in 1st but came 15th, blah blah". I do feel for some European bodybuilders but Dorian came to America and wiped the floor with everyone, with no sponsorship at first, and no hype, he hardly even talked to anyone, he was simply too good.
