Faith in new routines
« on: May 29, 2009, 01:54:30 PM »
Will staying between the 8-12 range yield greater muscle building results as long as there is progression and i am well fed and rested?

I have trained low reps for so long. Kinda afraid to change now but feel I need to

I have been using 8-10 for the last year.  I like it and have made solid gains...for what it's worth.

Here is where I am at.

I reckon I can press 275lbs for 13-14 reps (epic  ::) )

I am thinking of trying to get it up to maybe 12 reps with 4 or 5 sets preceeding it. If i do that surely my chest will be bigger.

However I also like 8ish reps.

I am in a quandry - tho i appreciate ur feedback dude.
