Obama's speech may oust Iran's president
« on: June 04, 2009, 09:26:17 PM »
Ahmedijahad is up against a tough opponent in a rough iranian economy.

By making nice with the Arab world just weeks before the Iran election, he's going to diffuse a lot of the hatred among iranian voters.

His speech could contribute greatly to the hardliner Ahmedijahad losing his job, leading to a more mdoerate President for us to deal with.

Yes sometimes honey works better than vinegar - some people are just too stupid to realise.

yeah, but just the pres having a big mouth has caused a lot of war ramp up, and given FOX news plenty to run with.

Imagine if they get a gentle, well-spoken guy in there who would rather trade with ISR than fight with them.

Are you retarded? You're speaking as if Iran is a true democracy, the elections are fake.

I don't think it'll matter much.  The nuke issue won't go away and Israel won't drop it just because they don't have a hardliner as president.

By "well spoken" you do mean "appeasing messages" right?
