i totaly agree with jt, coming on and off doesnt do you much good at all, best stay in blast and crusie mode for the best gains of your life....
its relevent to what your goals are tho, are u looking to compete?, if your just doin this to look a bit better and get more out of your training might be best to stay on the cautious side..., mske no doubt about it, the more you abuse the more trouble youve got comming too you later in life, better to know all the risks than bury your head in the sand and say it'l probly be ok.
