Actually come to think of it, I was lying before when I said after I completed my Army time I never had any issues with cops, in ireland funny enough I got arrested for a few minutes
Here is what happened - and folks who know me I don't sugar coat.
I come home from work wearing office cloth (that's important for later) this is a few years back and I was renting an apartment with my now wife.
The area I lived in wasn't very good so when I saw a bunch of guys lingering outside the building door I got suspicious, lets say my alarmbells didn't go off but there was that nagging voice you get when you're a bit street smart.
So i slowed down and saw them enter the building block. 2 min later i enter the building as well and I see them standing infront of the lift (the lift had security pad so you needed a code to use it) there were about 6 of them, only people in Ireland know what knackers look like but you learn very fast what a knacker (scumbag, gangster) looks like as in facial structures clothing etc. These guys looked not like knackers.
So I say...
Hi, do you guys need help... and I was interrupted by an older guy who said.
Oh yeah I can see you look a bit concerned, boys show him your badge or indentification.
They were of course plain cloth cops and I could see more coming or standing in the court yard not looking at us (that'll be important as well).
So me being the good upstandingfuckingcitizen offer them to take a ride in the lift.
While we go up i ask what they are here for and they say its a search warrent for drugs or maybe he said only a search warrent.
So I let them out and tell them were I live and if they need help with codes or keys to knock on my door.
So far so good...
Next I get in my gym cloth ready to walk to the gym.
I usually wear just shitty baggy old training tracks and converse, I didn't see the cops when I went down the lift 30 min or so later, but there was a cop sitting in the main hall that I haven't seen before.
I kind nod at him while I walk out, he gave me this weird look but I didn't think nothing of it.
I was half way down the road to the gym and an unmarked police car pulls up beside me two guys jump out and throw me against the wall.
Tell me to put my hands up etc. etc.
So as I got arrested so many times I kinda relaxed and thought just don't make trouble.
So they take my bag and search me cuff me and put me in the back of the car.
Then they ask me questions like - where are you from - Where do you work - Name etc.
I told them that I had helped they colleagues and it dawned on them
So they called their colleagues on the radio and found out I wasn't the right guy.
Later I found out that they were raiding an apartment that they suspected to be a steroid dealers "den" I saw them a couple of days later with buckets and what not carrying it into cars, they had a discription of a short hair broad type of guy with gym bag and I kinda fit the description
