I'm gonna honestly admit that Obama is one of the funnier acts right now.

As strange as that may sounds. ???

Both his two performances have been better than Letterman and O'Brien, eg.

And especially this last one was really top of the line as far as comedy value.

If he has to leave office, he sure has an alternative career to explore. :-\

Really?

A little amazed at that.

What do you usually think is funny?

I like
* Family Guy
* MAD TV
* Conan O'Briens old show (haven't seen him in the new slot).
* David Letterman, not as great as before, but his opening routine is still ok
* Ricky Gervais (UK version of The Office)
* Little Britain

I can also tell you what I don't like:
*the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, just feels tired.
*Jay Leno - he fcuking sucks
*Jimmy Kimmel - totally unfunny

One thing I thought was funny (as in real fcuking funny) was after he'd been joking about his cabinet, the white house and just about everything... the he said something about working day and night with the struggling car industry and everything else that is struggling (I'm paraphrasing) and here was you all people from the media - also a struggling business.

Then there was some kind of booing or moaning or whatever, gruntling may describe it best.

He picked up on that and said "Oh, so making jokes about you is off-limits, then it's not so fun all of a sudden, huh"

That was little like when Stephen Colbert stuck a dagger right at the gutless media at the correspondents dinner a few years ago.

So that I really appreciated. the media getting what they deserved. 8)

just that, some of his stuff was too predictable.

his corespondant dinner was a lot more funny

Haha, and I thought he was he was more stiff then.

Well opinions are like assholes I guess.

Side note: it's almost scary to see Obama.

The way he's able to connect I mean. The guy just totally wins over that room.

He's got a way to connect, that I've never seen before. it's almost like the guy could sell snow to eskimos if he wanted to. :-\

Gotta hope these worthless piece of shit journalists do a better job covering Obama than they did Bush. >:(

Everyone is constantly on about Bill Maher. We don't get it here in "Europe". But I will start watching the webcasts (unless the government and the copyright orgs are on to me, right BD? ;)  j/k).
