Just saw it on the IMAX.  Very good.  Best movie I've seen this year.  Very entertaining from start to finish.  Funny.  Good story line.  Great special effects. 

Only problem was having to answer 10,000 questions from my wife who never really watched Star Trek.

I just got the screener on Saturday, ...and I watched it twice on Sunday. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!       

Seeing it in IMAX must have been cool. Too bad for your wife though. I'm sure there must have been certain lines and certain character quirks that everyone else found hilarious, while she simply stared blankly at the screen.

I have to agree with you, it's the best film I've seen all year as well. The box office on this is going to be HUGE!
It combined everything... comedy, drama, romance, suspense, action, ...JJ really nailed it. Move over Dark Knight!

I can see that film inspiring people to go out and buy huge 52" big screens and surround sound home theatres.

I had people like this sitting in the theater behind me. She was asking him questions all the time, and he was telling all his theories about the plot to her.

i told them to stfu three times, and had to make a little scene to embarass the shit out of them after the movie when the lights went on, damn these talkers are annoying.

Yeah!  If I didn't like eating and sleeping in my bed so much I would have said the same thing to my wife.

Saw it recently and I loved it also..didn't like the part where Kirk's hands swole up and I didn;t like him outrunning that alien beast thing but other than that..it was good..now I understand why Kirk and McCoy were such good friends and I understand McCoy's crankiness now
