In most countries, the possession, let alone use, of brass knuckles is illegal. In Canada, brass knuckles or any similar devices are listed as prohibited weapons,[2] and possession of such weapon is a criminal offence under the Criminal Code of Canada.[3] In France, however, purchase and possession of brass knuckles is legal for 16 year-olds with parental permission, and are freely sold to people of legal age. The French term is 'un coup-de-poing américan', literally 'an American punch'.[4]

it's kind of silly to make them illegal, since you can do more damage with a bat or a hammer, etc..

In Rhode Island it's LEGAL for 16 year old girls to dance topless !!

no it isn't as bats and hammers have a different primary use. The only purpose of brass knuckles is to hurt someone. It's a typical flawed nra argument: guns don't kill people, people kill people. Bull! Guns/brass knuckles are explicit aids for killing people. they have no other intended use.

actually you could and i think you may still be able to legally buy brass knuckles in the US they are just sold as paper weights...no bs go to a gun show when i was younger I used to see them there all the time I dont know anymore though.
