haha yea that is tru...mariusz is a freak but that doesnt mean he cant be knocked out...boxer or not, if he never wrestled he wouldnt be able to defend against brocks takedowns

the only person thats gonna beat brock is someone with wrestling skills close to or as good as brocks period. or someone with a guard from hell cause brocks base is to good to sweep him, his fist come down like jack hammers and hes learning the bjj game now. so to beat him someones gonna have to be able to keep brock from taking them down and the person needs crisp, sharp powerful punches. and also take brock into the later rounds and see how brock does when hes alittle frustrated and aint havin his way bullying his opponant around. i woulve like to see tom ( the big cat ) erickson in his prime fight brock. theres no way in hell brock was throwin around erickson, tom was a 2 time NCAA div 1 all american, he was also a 2 time NJCAA collegiate champion in 84 and 85. tom weighed over 3 beans and stood 6ft 4 or so and didnt get the name (big cat) caused he moved slow. trust me people, a guy will come along with the tools to beat brock very soon, brocks just a bigger and stronger version of tito ortiz in his fighting style

true there is always someone bigger and stronger out there...... but now because of BROCK more guys are going to come out of the wood work for the challange

Pudz would be doubled into the cage, eat a string of hammerfists until his face is hamburger. Then after the fight, it would be revealed that he failed the drug test.

Brock is UNIQUE. Not too many men his size, move as well, as fast or hit as hard. Rodrigo Medeiros is sharpening his jits game, his only vulnerablity will be his stand up. And he still has those mailbox like fists.

very true about guys coming out of the wood work to fight brock, the guy who beats brock is gonna be the man. even if that guy never wins another fight in his life hed be remembered and famous in the mma community cause of him beating brock. especially if he beats the crap out of lesner with a huge ko or tko, im waiting to see brock get creamed like bisping got creamed by hendo, brocks to arrogant and disrespectful to be representing our great sport of mma imo, its ashame he couldnt be more mature and not act like a spoiled 12 year old kid who takes a tantrum

ive got to pull you on your last few comments,,, ive found the mms 'sport' to be a 'sport' totaly with out respect, wheres its the norm to hit whilest the opponent is knocked out, refusing to shake hands, showing no humility to the looser...

The biggest surprise element in this is Brock's chin... he hasn't been chin checked yet, put him up against a hard striker like Gonzaka, or Cheick...then we'll see what he's made of

Watch the 2nd round when Mir clenched him, rocked his jaw with a knee. Brock was woosey, seemed to have fell taking Mir with him and ended up on top but didn't do anything for about 15-20 sec.

Not saying his chin is weak by no means but seemed to be confused on how to defend when mir went to the clench (for a split second). Like Cain was against Kongo.
If only Kongo kept it standing....

No, that's just exactly my point! the one time someone got a clean shot on him dropped him (unfortunately on TOP of Mir) but even Brock himself said he was seeing stars for about a second, my point was that I think we'll see a whole different (shitty) side of Brock when he fights a competent striker that throws bombs.

He's already been submitted, that you can train against and for...but a glass jaw is a glass jaw... you can't train for that, unless you just try to avoid getting hit!

being rocked and recovering quickly and being rocked and not recovering is 2 huge different things imo, guys like tito, chuck, fedor ect have the ability to get rocked yet regain their composure in 1 second or so. remember when ken fought tito in the first fight? i think it was the first rd, but tito had ken against the fence and was hitting ken with some pretty good shots and ken winds up and nails tito on the chin with a huge right hook and you see tito fall to one knee and tito,s head dipped and looked out for a split second but then tito recovered and grabbed ken. another was fedor vs fujita in pride, fujits throws a huge overhand right bomb that nails the russion right on the temple and you see fedor wobble like he just drank 40 bottles of vodka, fujita try to finish fedor but fedor recovered very fast and ended up submitting the huge japanese beast by RNC. chuck was also rocked pretty good in a few of his fights and recovered very fast. like the guys above said, you cant train for that ability, your either born with the ability to take a shot or your not period. cabbage is another guy who has a rock head and can take a shot. wanderlie was another guy who could get dropped clean with a nice shot and bounce right back up. to be a champion and stay a champion you need the ability to take a hard shot or 2 and recover quickly and shake it off, glass jaws fighters get quickly exposed in this sport of mma

Guida comes to mind as one of the most impressive bounce back cavemen I've seen. You just don't knock out that man!!!!

Don't know how hard Diego hits, but that kick he served in the penalty spot was dead on!!!
