When I talked to him on the phone it was $300 an hour...


I've been a trainer for over 15 years, studied everything including disease, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, etc. I can't justify anything over $70.00 an hour. I don't care who you are or how big the demand is.


All you really become over time is a rep counter. What could you possibly share with someone (other than dope) that is worth over $100 bucks an hour? Maybe trainers become part time attorneys and counselors?


One person talking to another person. Maybe we should start charging eachother for "advices"


I suppose you could justify charging that much just for being around miserable company day after day.

You're using drugs that can kill you or screw you up big time.  Do I want to learn insulin from an anonymous message board, a 'how to' website, or from the guy who has prepared bodybuilders to do it for 2 decades?

You only get 1 chance to screw something like that up, and youre toast.  I'd pay the $.  At the very least, the guru has a lot to lose should he half-ass it, so it'll take it seriously.  There's a higher chance you look better and don't die while using it.

I wouldn't pay a guy $200 to count reps.  But I'd pay $200 for a one-time "teach me everything I need" consultation.

Yes, I did grovel at Ron's feet to get released from Time Out because I love it on here so much.
