Cigar Storage?

My friend got me some neat cigars, I don't have a humidor or anything.  How should I store them?  ???

in a bag, in a fridge, and with a lime skin/peel in the bag with the cigar

I only buy singles or small amounts so I buy these little bags they sell with a humdor packet inside, they seem to work well.
