President Barack Obama should be feeling quite self-assured following his State of the Union address on Wednesday night.
According to a CNN poll, one in seven who watched the speech changed their minds on the president’s proposed health insurance reforms. At the beginning of the speech, 53 percent supported health reform; by its end, that figure had increased to 67 percent.
Another seven out of 10 people told the network the policies will “move the country in the right direction,” which represents a 10 percent increase over pre-speech figures.
