The source also claimed Grubbs had shown her friends texts from Clooney's number, adding: 'It didn't matter what Jaimee was doing. When George called, she came running.'
George Clooney has flatly denied the story, with his spokesman saying he has never met Grubbs. Grubbs herself would only admit: 'I know him'.
The latest bizarre twist in Woods' spectacular fall from grace came as Grubbs tried to apologise to his wife Elin Nordegren.

Any comfort Elin may have taken from the apology may be mooted, however, by the release yesterday of a series of flirtatious texts that her husband had sent Grubbs.

Grubbs was not the only one of Tiger's women to speak yesterday.

The strange part to me is that there are a few girls I've been with who liked talking about the celebrities or pro athletes they were also hooking up with and I always just assumed they were bullshitting.  Women will lie if they think you'll do more for them because of your desire to compete with their pretend celebrity boyfriends. 

I guess there may have been some truth in what they were saying, after all.

As I stated earlier this week, Tiger's corporate sponsors aren't going anywhere. 

Nike, Gatorade, Gillette, and AT&T are sticking with him.  EA Sports is still onboard and expect Tag Heuer to be as well.  The only major I haven't heard from yet is Accenture and based on what the others have done - and the reasoning behind it - I retract my previous prediction that they might possibly look to modify their agreement.  Accenture isn't going to change any of their marketing at all.  When you fly through the world's airports, it's still Tiger's face that you're going to see all over.
