I remember when I accidentally ripped out my finger nail, and had to keep the finger covered up for a long ass time,

Anyway, when I finally removed the not "cast" because it wasn't broken, but the thing that covers the finger, The top of my other hand felt like deep leather lol while touching it with that finger.. Now it feels smooth as hell, but your sense can always get insanly better!
