OLD SCHOOL BMX BIKES
« on: May 12, 2009, 12:51:05 PM »
Did not know where to post this please move if needed.

I am looking for old school BMX bikes Frames forks complete bikes parts ECT. Late 70s-1990.  I raced BMX for 15yrs and I’m trying to restore a lot of bikes. It’s a hobby to me and some of the old school pros. We have BMX bike shows kind of like a car show. I will be happy to buy anything as long as its not cracked and in restoreable condition. I can always re chrome or powder coat them it not a big deal. I will pay cash or we can do a trade. I am trying to restore a few bikes from 81 and 86. I know a ton of  guys in their 30s-40s still have their bike from when they were kids in their parent’s garage, shed, crawlspace, or in storage or maybe even in your new houses. Lmk.Thanks Yes I know I can look on ebay and craigs list but i am coming here because everone here trains.

Haha this is a cool thread.  I was big into BMX.  I used to ride around on a Huffy until my brother bought me my first Haro Pro.  That bike was fucking Awesome and I rode that thing into the ground.  I loved that bike.  It seems like they don't really make bikes like that anymore.  I think I got that bike in the early 90's.  I seriously rode that bike EVERYWHERE!  I grew up in St. Louis and rode all over.  There was this guy in St. Louis called "Johnny Six Killer".  LMAO!  He rode his BMX bike EVERYWHERE!  He seriously never owned a car and was an ex BMX racer.  We would see him all the time.  One time he got my friends and I to all lay down on our backs shoulder to shoulder and he bunny hopped over us.  Kind of stupid cause if he missed he would have hurt us but we thought that was the coolest thing.

The fact that you know what child molesters would use to bait children and what to say to keep them quiet speaks volumes about your own sick twisted mind.  I suggest next time you keep your perverted delusions/imagination to yourself.

I use to freestyle back in the 80's and early 90's. I miss my Haro Master. I actually have a hot pink Mongoose Decade Pro, I'm thinking of painting it and fixing it up.

I had all kinds of bikes, My first was a Diamond Back Viper, I started BMX racing then I slowly got into freestyle. I had in no particular order, a Haro Sport then a Haro Master, then a mongoose Decade Pro. I also had a Hutch Trickstar, a General Rl Osbourne, A Torker 2 (which got stolen), then a Dyno. I recently bought one of those cheap Next Freestyle bikes from Wal Mart for around 120.00.
