Losing games in November isn't a big deal.  It has been some time since the TarHeels were beaten in March.

I have no doubt that they will have physical, spirited practices from now until the real (ACC) season begins.  (I'm waiting for Dick Vitale to bust into this thread and make it all about Puke Duke:  "Carolina is a good team...and they better be a good team 'cause they gotta go to Durham, baby!  The Dookies, Coach K, and all the Cameron Crazies can't wait to show their stuff, baby!!!!")

He did that during the Carolina game the other night..... :-\  I'm one of the few Carolina fans who actually likes Vitale, mainly because he is so passionate about college basketball.....and he does plug Carolina quite a bit, but I can understand why others don't like the guy.

I like Vitale despite his constant playful nibbling at Coach K's nutsack.  Dickie V does seem genuine, and he looks like he really gives a shit about the players and doesn't look at them as interchangeable commodities.

He would still trade it all in to even go 5-21 coaching a men's team in a mid-major.

No way would he do that. I don't know if you've been to CT but Geno and Calhoun are God's here. With his track record, if he wanted to coach men's he would have been doing it a few national championships ago.
