I remember 3-4 years ago a guy posted under the name Johnny Apollo. Does anyone remember him? Was he a gimmick or otherwise?

He posted under another handle as well. Not exactly a gimmick though. Moron wrote a peice about bodybuilding on wikipedia and included Adonis's picture from Mr. Getbig 1

lol, i remember there was a picture of some girl holding a sign that read something like "I love Johnny Apollo"  and he bragged about it until someone pointed out if you pay her she'll do it for anyone.

yeah something like that, haha. Interesting character. I have no idea how we get these characters on getbig; apparently he was also a super genius, fluent in 32 languages, had multiple PhD's, trained in MMA, etc.

I had suspicions that his newest handle was Deicide because he was so neurotic and annoying, but it turns out Deicide's a legit dude. I guess its still possible that Deicide used to post as JA..

Yeah I remember him.  When i first got on Getbig he was in the thick of posting.  Most of his activity centered around religion and proving it false.

He was a pretty good poster...really livened up the board.  Wouldn't listen much to the other side of things and couldn't believe that was really a pic of Colossus but he got things rolling.

He was also Tyrone Powers and bjorn_fairhair who later became more of a shared account (w/people that are still here) than the other two.
