Here's some advice from first hand experience. Even if you're using a board Certified Surgeon, it's still important to make sure they specialize in rhinoplasty even if they do other procedures. since most plastic/cosmetic surgeons do most procedures, it doesn't mean that they are very good at all of them. some might be very good at doing boob jobs, but not so good at nose jobs. check with at least 2-3 surgeons and look at before and after pictures that they have of patients. Even if someone has the schooling, degrees etc. it still comes down to a surgeons artistic skill. As far as the pain, I didn't think that it really was that painful. I've had more pain having a root canal done.

I've seen somebody yesterday who had obviously an operation on his nose - I wanted to ask him but thought I don't bother him, his nose was all taped up looked real bad.
So the next day I see the same guy and though I ask him, he said it hurts like a #### but said he pretty much had the same problem I have - as in you get barely any air through your nose.

Called Insurance company today and its all covered so I could go ahead with this very soon if all works out.

Need some advice - anybody else here had a similar procedure done? With all the cagefigters at getbig I expect a lot of guys with broken nose here.

i had my nose fixed without me even knowing about it. all you have to do is get in a car wreck, and wake up in a hospital 3 days later and you will have a new nose
