I was rolling my eyes in endorsement.  Hutchinson and so many other GOP critics are now pretending as if they care about Afghanistan and out of control spending, but they were completely missing in action when Bush initiated out of control spending (a trillion dollars on the totally unnecessary war in Iraq) and completely ignored Afghanistan.  When General David McKierna asked for more troops in Afghanistan, under Bush, Bob Gates couldn't provide them because the manpower was committed to Iraq.  Thousands of troops died in Iraq; their lives were thrown away for nothing!

Never before Bush had a President cut taxes at a time of war and starved the Treasury of the very funds it needed to pay for the administration's agenda.  

Hutchison has zero credibility.
