Mail forwarding
« on: December 14, 2009, 11:26:44 AM »
I am sub renting a place and the owner is having his mail forwarded to Florida.  Doesn't the post office match address and name and then forward the mail?  I would like to have some mail (My own) received at the new address, but don't want it forwarded to Florida along with the homeowners.  Anyone ever dealt with this and can provide some insight?

Maybe call or go to the Post Office and explain the situation...see what they say.

Seems like if your names are different they'd be able to make it work but there could be some mix-ups.

It may be a hassel but maybe you should rent a PO Box until you move.
