Wiggs, your right!!!!! Amen!!! My point of this thread wasn't to bash anybody just inform people. My friend who got hooked on Ultram, was a Mormon guy, never drank never smoked, and never been buzzed his whole life.He married his first gf and didn't have sex until they were married, at 19.
So this guy was as straight as an arrow.Well he went to tie his shoe one day, and hurt his back so bad, he couldn't even walk.So he goes to the Doctor, and the Dr writes him a prescription for Loritabs, he tells the doctor I cant take those I am a Mormon. So the Dr writes him a prescription for Ultram.Needless to say he got hooked so bad he couldn't even function without them.He became a full blown addict.
Now addiction is a very ugly thing.I bet if you asked a addict, one question they would all have the same answer. If you knew how addictive this drug your taking was would you have ever taken it in the first place? I bet 10 out of 10 would say no.
Just look at cigarettes, people smoke them to be cool and fit in.There are new studies showing its in some cases harder to get off of cigarettes then it is to get off of Heroine.
I know my mother tried to quit smoking for 10 years, and after stage 4 brain and lung Cancer she finally did.But before that she couldn't quit.
I started this post to just inform people about how addictive this non narcotic pain medication can be.
You will be surprised how naive people are when it comes to addiction. There is a big difference between just having a bad habit, and having a full blown addiction.
There is literally an epidemic for the misuse and the abuse of pain medication, and Benzo's....
The numbers keep getting bigger and bigger everyday, because people tell themselves and other people, it as prescribed by my doctor. So it must be okay.To justify there addiction.
Addiction ruins life's and shatters dreams.........Addiction Killed Michael Jackson, and Danny Gans, may they rest in peace.Would you care to join them?
