I dont see where manny is looking for an excuse. Manny has said he will follow the standard drug testing protocol as administered by the governing bodies.

Why should Manny commit to anything more?

mayweather does his best to fuck up the fighter before the fight, he totaly biased the ref before the hatton fight, altho he did beat him fair n square.....

i love pac man, but ive been suspicius of how he's grown in size and power, bringing more power with each weight class he grows too,, thats very very hard to do naturaly..

the tests the way they stand are easliy to manipulate, theres no way of getting round them the way floyd wants them done..

I just don't understand why Pacquiao would rather sue Mayweather, than submit to the test.
If I'm clean, I'd be happy to prove beyond reasonable doubt.
As things stand, drug testing is not satisfactory in boxing as it has no OVERALL governing body to oversee transparent and fair application of testing.
I think ppl are wrong to say that Mayweather is being a bitch...how was he to know that Pacquiao would refuse the IOC testing?? Think about it.

I think the tests are fine the way they are....Pacman already agreed to a test immediately after the fight...
along with other tests leading up to the fight....

but thats a moot point.....even if testing is not currently satisfactory who is mayweather to tell people how to do it...and if he truely is so concerned about current testing why is he just now bringing it up at the end of his career....I haven't heard him go threw all this testing talk for all his other fights....this has zero to do with him doing his part to change testing in boxing and everything with him trying to screw with pacman and or get out of the fight because he knows he will not retire unbeaten if he steps in the ring with pacman....

Per Se, I appreciate your point about "if Im clean, I'll prove it". But as big L dawg said the other side of that argument is that who is mayweather to dictate testing policy. Thats down to the sanctioning bodies. Like you say the testing may not be adequate, but its not down to the fighter to dictate the terms of his opponents testing. Manny is entitled to sue, as Mayweathers made defamatory comments in the public domain which could potentially harm his earnings and reptuation.
There is also the risk of samples being tampered with if an outside body is brought it.

I will say the testing before and after the fight is a bit of joke anyway, I mean if Manny is using steroids, he's going to be taking them when hes between fights anyway as you dont want to be "on" when your competing in athletic events such as boxing as they impair performance not improve it.
