Recovery drink made without soy products?
« on: January 15, 2010, 08:39:17 PM »
Sup getbig family,

I am a little freaked out that almost everything on the shelves of the supermarket is made with some kind of soybean derivative.
Soy letchin, soy bean, soy oil, soy this, soy that. I have two big tubs of Whey protein that I use to always drink until I noticed
the same trend. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good protein powders or shakes that don't contain soy?

I use to live on Soy milk when I thought that was such a great thing for us to drink in comparison to the dreaded Cow Milk.
Now, I have done a bit of research on the bad side of soy and I am trying to avoid it at all costs! I mean its already in almost
everything we eat in some mutation or another so I'm not going to knowingly pay to consume more of it.

Thanks

Princess L

There are many protein powders out there that do not contain soy.  What brand(s) do you have?  Are you sure you're comparing protein powders to protein powders and not MRPs?  Then again, there's a lot of MRPs out there without soy too.
