Two of my buddies who are Skins fans took the trip up to Detroit to go to the game. Ticket air fare and hotel were dirt cheap along with their 50 yard line seats on the lower level. What a shocker.....


Said they were treated very cordially by the Lions fans in the stands. I told them, " No shit they were friendly! They haven't won a game in almost two years!"   ;D

You're poor buddies..... hope they had a good time anyway.


As for the Lions.....I really like their "Big 3" of Stafford, Johnson and Smith.  Very solid and set for years to come.

They actually said they had an awesome time. Said they bars and clubs around Ford field were fun as hell with a lot of enthusiam for the city's major sports teams. But Detroit is a hockey town first, if you ask me.


But Calvin Johnson is a beast. Smith is pretty good to. Stafford has a lot of potential.

Yeah, I think football is an afterthought in Detroit, which is understandable.  I wouldn't mind seeing them be a decent team down the road.
