That would be a possibility but does the island really exist?

Maybe they all just wake up on the plane?  Some bad chili was served in flight.

I've never seen that show but I did spend some time with the cast and crew at the "premiere" party that they held on Waikiki Beach before it was released on the network. A few of my friends were involved as actors and crew in the initial scenes when the survivors were 'ship-wrecked' on the beach.

Can anyone give a synopsis of the entire series? It seems like it is a confusing story.

Actors have a great life ... The 'extras' in the movie Pearl Harbor practiced for a couple of days for a background scene and on the third day  two of the principal actors showed up, hopped out of their limousine, stood in front of the camera and said a few lines while the extras re-enacted a major battle in the background.

Five minutes of filming, the director yelled "Cut!" and the actors hopped back into the limousine and were driven back to the golf course while the extras continued to 'act' away the rest of the day in the tropical heat for less than a $100 paycheck.

And no one knew how much those actors got for their five minute work-day but it was thousands of times more than what the extras got.

Moral of this story - If you plan to get into the movies, forget the extra bullshit and be a star!

I bailed after season 3.
Seems like the writers were making shit up as they went along, with no real place to go.  :-\

They discovered a trap door that led to a computer room where they weren't sure if they should press a button or not press a button and some pirates were buttraping a black kid.  What happened since then?

I'm hoping someone can post up a synopsis of the whole show as well, I watched a few episodes from season 4 and I feel lost... I know this much:

something to do with an airplane crash in the pacific by an uncharted island

the island was used in the 70's by some scientific corporation

there is some kind of alternate reality/time travel aspect involve where the island resets itself and all the inhabitants are shuffled around in the time continuum.

there is some giant screw in the middle of the island buried deep underground that get's activated and a bunch of miners die.
