Superbowl 44 - Sunday Pt 2

well....i'm in louisiana working an assignment n that's why i've been ranting.  that being said...did they pay peyton to throw the ball too far to the inside with two DBs larking in the area.  who knows?  like i said you'd be an a$$ to put money on indy in this game.  even if it wasnt a fixture...they wwould have moved the saints down the field with plenties to give them a field shot to win with seconds.   that's what i was thinking. yeah...vegas cleaned house and once again north americans lose but i guess if u have unlimited disposable income then it's ok to give it to crocks.  

1. city always celebrates so it's just anothre party to them.   pretty clean and control blk and white.  
2. another long as$ parade tuesday for the saints.  

anyway...i give the nfl credit for selling this one.  indy clearing better round team as you watch the game...as was the viks.  i dont have a clue about marketing, sponsors, etc but they make more money out this with saints winning.

to the louisiana users on here:

1. reggie is gone.  u guys doing crack if u are going to keep a 3rd down back for 8m per over the next 2 yrs n not sign other important parts to the puzzle.  real contributing parts...not celeb stuff with his girlfriend.  anyway my idea is carroll in seattle with a better idea what to do with

2. sharper gone too.  35 and will want a long term big deal.  look at the game again.  addai made him look old on a run and dallas killed him over the top which i'm surprised they didnt take long shots at him.  great zone reader to make ints and do his self promotion swagger.

3. drew and pierre are keepers.

4. benson the owner is dog2##t.  they'd be in san anthony if it was up to him after katrina.

anyway it was a good win but by no means a football makes a persons life better.  this s@@t is forgotten by next and people in the city got to go back to their real lives.

hey parker...this reminds me of a quote and saying in brasil.  they speak about the poor people using carnival to live their 15 mins of a dream and fantasies when their samba schools goes thru its' 15 mins in the samba drome but it's a fleeting moment.  that being said...louisiana people enjoy but get back to your real lives.    AND NEXT TIME....f$$KIN GO OUT AND VOTE FOR YOUR MAYOR'S RACE.  THAT'S A HELL OF ALOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN A FOOTBALL GAME.  WHAT LIKE 10 PEOPLE VOTED IN A WHOLE DA#N CITY.  now...you let old family politics in the back door cause u were too BUSY drinking and partying  over a fleeting moment.  maybe i'm wrong about mitch.

saints winning superbowl will not make peoples' lives better or more uplifting...as the nfl has been selling the last two weeks since the focus is on the poor folks of louisiana who are still rebuilding.  it's no difference than a dweller in the samba drome for 15 mins living their fantasy and back to the favela when your school;s run is over.  

by next week there will still be the crime, broke down areas of the city, etc.  yes...it's a win for the organization and brownie points for the nfl...since they have an image crisis.  

anyway...naggy told people in the city to take a day off from the game n mardi gras, go out and vote.  they couldnt even do that.  another a@@ in office for 4 yrs vs a 3hr celebration which will be forgotten after tuesday's parade.

now...peyton is getting the wrath since he didnt shack drew's hand.  boy...i dont remember running over to comp to kiss their a$$ after a lose.  only in worthless north american society n sports are u at the top one min than u are a poor sport and bad guy next?  

dont know how they did it?  but they fixing stuff in the nfl.  those stuff goes on in soccer all the time.  how much did the public eat financially biting on the 5pt indy line which the nfl sold to the public but insisted that the saints high powered offense was really a bad offense and couldnt score on an avg defense.

Either way, the city of New Orleans, with almost every hotel sold out for the weekend, and the thousands of people there eating, drinking and spending money - is a great boost for the local economy there. 

Anything that pumps hundreds of millions of dollars will trickle down to the hard working people all over the city, which is good.
