Not Arnold Chuck Sipes
How do you rate Larry Scotts arms? Mofo had full biceps maybe along the lines of Sergio.

OOps my bad. Looks like Arnold though. Thanxs.

Yeah Arnold's first Olympia was 1969 and he lost to Sergio

Nice pics man, ND might not top these we'll see.

Thanks.

I think Scott had some of the most complete arm development of any competitor in history.
His anterior arm development balanced out the posterior.
At times - and in certain shots – the “swoop” of his tri’s almost mirrored the peak in his bi’s.

A lot of top guys didn’t posses that quality – at least not to the same degree as Scott.
Even Arnold (who was phenomenal)…his biceps greatly overpowered his triceps.

Additionally, Larry had awesome shoulder development – made even more impressive by the fact that he had such a small frame.
I’ve always considered the delts to be part of the arm since they are the first part of the appendage stemming from the torso.
Again, not to pick on him, but I think that even Arnold’s shoulder development lagged behind his impressive upper arms (biceps).

Every part of Larry’s arm – from the delts to the wrists – was very well proportioned.

after seeing these pics, larry may be one of the most under rated mr o's ever...
people always have arnold, ronnie, dorian and haney (in no particular order)
larry (specifically in this thread) and possibly samir (off-topic) have been overlooked.
I'd have to throw larry up in the top 5 of all-time, with samir in tow.

awesome thread...
btw, how bout that shot of ls in his older years holdin that pic hittin that impressive bicep shot

Yeah, even later on, Larry's arms were still quite impressive:

based on early pics of Scott you'd never think he had the arm genetics to develop the arms he did...even with drugs. its weird.

It was the Larry Scott Olympia pictures at the first Golds I went to that convinced me to switch from just cardio (to lose weight) to start building muscle and sculpting my body (no homo).  Still the physique I would want to look like. 8)

When you speak in terms of tricep swoop matching biceps, Flex Wheeler comes to mind. When he does a arm shot, his tris and bis make a almost perfect circle.

Vince always said Larry was his best student,  he applied everything Vince ever taught him in the gym.  He listened to everything he had to say.

Anyone who mentions a retard like Johnny Falcon in the same sentence as Vince doesn't know shit about Vince.  I think Johnny would get kicked out of Vince's Gym within seconds of entering.

Yeah, that's a lot more than just d-bol.
He had expert instruction, surprisingly good genetics, excellent response to diet & the limited anabolics available at the time, and determination.

IMO, a lot of guys would not have been able to tolerate Gironda's methods or demeanor. Although, I suspect Vince acted a little differently towards Larry.

He clearly had the genetics for it.
