Another Taliban leader captured in Pakistan. Newsweek's Sami Yousafzai and Mark Hosenball report that a second leader of the Taliban, identified as Mullah Abdul Salam, has been captured in a joint effort between Pakistan and the U.S.

Salam was apparently picked up by Pakistan security forces about a week ago in Faisalabad, around the same time that the Taliban's second in command, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baraader, was reportedly captured. More details from Newsweek here.

So far, the war abroad has been one of obama's effective policies. 

I am utterly against the KSM situation on all elvels, but I cant complain about his pursuit abroad of this savages.

But military and foreign policy issues = Obama owns against the 2012 contender.  How will a palin, pawlenty, mitt or huck claim to know how to protect us better than Obama - when he was the one who declared a win in iraq and moved out, and now is kicking the crap outta the taleban, something Bush opted to skip?

Where's that recent poll - americans believed Obama does more to keep them safe, than the republican congress.  Was shocked to see that.

Barry's foreign policy is a friggen disaster. His policy as far as Afghanistan has been odd but he's allowed the adults to continue to do whats neccesary. The Paki's have known where this guy was for a long time...so I imagine the CIA has finally pressured them into grabbing him. They don't do things that aren't in their best interest so they have an angle as well. This guy is supposedly talking like a canary..I hope they continue to kick the shit out of him, he won't see a courtroom here. Funny, when Bush policies work for Barry, the douchbag left says nothing.
