Aw, Tim. That lake effect stuff is brutal. You guys get reamed. We've got a little wet stuff that's just melting on contact. We might get 6 cm at most, they say, over the next few days.

once again, climate is not the same as weather

now we know why conservatives like to cut education funding.

But they are closely related, so what's your point?

climate change, or even global warming, what ever you want to call it, can cause storms to be more sever.  and when those storms occur over places that are below freezing, you're going to get massive snow storms.    so a brutal winter over the eastern US is not evidence that climate change is a hoax.

well Rick, long story short (if thats possible for a woman)..moved here in 91, from San Diego (born and raised) with my parents to spend a few years with my grandparents, decided to go to college, got a job in the gaming commission blah blah, then couldnt take the small town crap so moved to E. Rutherford NJ, met my kids dad, moved to NYC with him. Moved back up here to CT, parents gifted me the house with no rent nor mortgage (its free and clear) so now Im kind of stuck. How many 40 year olds own there own home out right (grant it I didnt pay for it but none the less its in my name)

So much for "global warming" hahaha. BTW, its a GREAT golf day here in So.Cal ;D

So you have clearly not read anything about global warming.  One of the effects is "Extreme Whether"  i.e. this snowstorm.
