You're really not going to play the "all life is sacred "card when most of those right-wingers would love to see all Arabs late term aborted, are ya?!

Personally, I'm not huge on using abortion for birth control but feel there are worse things. That being said, if we get to pick and choose what things are OK on taxpayer dime where will the slippery slope will lead to? Obesity is a personal choice, should they be denied healthcare?

no they should not, when I got my own healthcare I weighed 263 and paid 600 bucks monthly (my boss was a solo attorney and didn't offer benefits). Now I only pay 200 for me and my child

LOL if you really dont see the difference between an innocent fetus and a terrorist...you should probably grab a baby and run over to afghanistan and see which one youd rather spend time with  ;) Also Im more of the mind that a person needs to take fuking responsibility for their own actions the state of laziness in this country is fuking sickening. I mean take a pill use a condom there are plenty of options to avoid pregnancy.

Thats why I said I see your point, but again I think we can eliminate the elective procedures or at least poolthem together so that those who dont want elective procedure or want to pay for them are in a seperate pool...

Abortions can save tax payers lots of monies..

Talk about a return on investment for the tax payer. ;D  It's not really a return on investment but whatever..
so would using a condom or the pill...so would aborting elderly and mentally retarded ppl...

this isnt simply about money its about taking responsibility for your own idiotic actions...you know that thing your mom taught you when you were younger?

TonyMcTony,

Laziness (emotional, intellectual, or any other way it can be applied) is an American birthright and can never be legislated away. :)

There is one aspect of this discussion I've been impatiently awaiting to work its way in to the conversation. There is no legal way of forcing doctors to be a part of this scheme without also nationalizing education or student loans, too.

BTW, I wrote "Arab".. not "terrorist".

yes it is an American birthright but its not a birthright when its at the expense of others... ;) If you want to sit on your ass and do nothing fine but dont expect others to pay for you to do so.

Please expalin the education/student loans comment please

I know you wrote arab but ive never heard a person say all arabs should be aborted although Im sure there are ppl out there like that. That shouldnt be something you staple to anti abortionist or religious ppl for that matter.

P.S. I think youre one of the few that actually get my screen name  ;D

LOL I remember one time when I was younger I took some candy from the grocery store, you know the kind that was in a container and you could fill a bag up and then go pay. I took some and stuffed them in my pocket and when I got in the car and starting eating them my mom noticed and asked where I got them from I told her I took them and she made me go back in there find the manager give back the candy and apologize and pay for the ones I ate... ;D whats funny is that I really didnt know it was stealing I just figured that it was like free samples hahahhahah

absolutely parents don't get it. I mean take example my daughters school. They call teachers by their first name i.e Ms. Jennifer. Hello what happend to using last names (to me its more respectful). I have beat into my daughters head if you talk to someone you look at them even if answering a question or if someone opens the door. She has pretty great manners, and hope she sticks with it.

Student loans have to be paid off over a 10 year period. Some guys/girls leave with $300K, $400, or even $500 in debt. Some of these changes will make practice unaffordable without the Govt. picking up the student loan tabs.
