Don't tempt Jerry.   He'll steal all the ice in Antartica to get a rink in THE BIG HOUSE!  But for now I stay warm and comfy at STAPLES (in my jersey and shorts) if I want to watch some  hockey.

Agreed, Boston, like Pitt is a big hockey town and outdoor games are in huge demand. The winter classic at Fenway was a HUGE draw.

I am a Kings fan, I LIVE in LA.  But I assume they luv Hockey in Dallas, they have a cool arena though I hate the Stars. But anyone dumb  enough to sit at an outside hockey game (even if its for the CUP) are out of there minds  (and as white as the sheet of ice)  its stoooooped. But in the mean time  I will continue attending Kings games like all King fans    wearing a jersey and SHORTS  in our warm comfy Staples Center.   Bbrrrrrrr

Every city with an NFL franchise is a BIG HOCKEY TOWN. For Christ Sakes my town LA has 2 NHL teams (Kings and the  Fucks of Anaheim  and a minor league team. Just because a city is below freezing on the 4th of July and has 2 black families in the area, does not make them the only Hockey Towns around.   At least in my opinion. :-\

If Jerry brought the game to HIS HOUSE there'd be 150,000 tickets sold!   If the fans are idiots and want the outdoor feeling...he can open the roof  and blast the AC!

the game is called the winter classic, hence choosing cities that actually have a winter

Its hard to cover 2 teams in separate cities so she follows the games online. And she gets her info the broadcast journalists like Bob Miller. and whoever does the ducks.  But in LA, Lakers come first....USC football or UCLA basketball comes 2nd Dodgers come next then Anglels  then other stuff  like HS Football being LA has 5 big time hs's.   But the Kings have faithful fans ..REAL FAITHFUL!!!!!  We still dream Lord Stanley will spend time in the CIY OF ANGELS!
