Yea I'm looking forward to seeing what political commentary it contains.  I guess it's under new direction now.  For all I know they might have canned the guy for being critical of Obama with the show.  These news shows might be void of controversy which will be to bad.

I rarely give the major networks a chance on any interesting series like this because they usually fuck it up and or just cancel it.  It's become a regular routine with these fuckheads.  I pretty much ignore anything and everything they put out because they usually fuck it up and it gets canceled.  If you want a sure bet, go with the shit put out by FX, SyFi, HBO, AMC and a few others who devote and promote their investment and time and stay in it for the long haul.

I'm old enough to remember the original V and this new version is nowhere near as good.
You'd think with the improved special effects you'd get a better series than the original.

This V choppy, badly written and just boring as hell. I'm a big Sci-fi fan so I was hoping to get a good show.

It would have been great if they'd launched it as an event like the original miniseries. So far, it's pretty mediocre. The revisions are pretty silly, but maybe it'll play a part in the turnaround if the show lasts that long.
