Dry Skin, Dry Hair, Faded complexion when dieting?
« on: April 12, 2010, 05:53:37 AM »
Is this normal? or have I dropped my calories too low.

My hair is pretty dry and my skin is dry, especially my scalp.

My complexion seems kinda "Washed out"

No acne, just not "glowing"

I'm just trying to drop some fat......is my body falling apart?

Drink plenty of water and take fish oils and vitamin E.  You'll be fine.  PIP

the same thing happened to me when i was dieting a while back. my skin got extremely dry, esp my hands. and my complexion got faded.
i increased my fats and it did help a little...but as long as i was calorie restricted my skin kept dry and my complexion was faded. It went away after a couple  weeks after i stopped dieting tho.
