So what's your theory on why RP can never seem to capitalize on these poll numbers?

I get into trouble making theories here so I'll just post it as is.  The only thing I find interesting is that several have said Ron Paul wouldn't stand a chance.  Some have said they would vote for him but he wouldn't win so they won't vote for him.  Well I just though with those perspectives posted here, this is an interesting poll.

"So what's your theory on why RP can never seem to capitalize on these poll numbers?"

FOX news hosts prefer RINOS - and they steer their viewers the same way.

Tancredo, paul and others were ignored, while Mitt, Rudy and Mccain were 24/7 referred to as "the only truly VIABLE candidates".  People who can't define viable, were repeating that shit for a year.

so basically a bias by Fox News toward Rinos?  They've been better toward Ron Paul after the election of Obama.  Any additional comment?  Seriously just curious.

Sure, RP is good for ratings, and if they're too much of dicks, he stops coming on the air.

But they sure don't want him elected.  And the way Hannity would sneer every time he said his name in 2007/2008...

and they'll be nice now because viewers like him -but when their vote matters again, they'll be dicks to him, and point out he's not viable like Palin or Romney (scoff).

let's not forget that in the first days after the election Fox/Hannity and other commentators like Rush made this quick jump to seperate themselves from the election failure.  I documented it here after the election.  The threads are still here where Hannity and Rush and the rest of Fox made a mad rush to establish that they had all along been for real conservatism and the constitution ::)  It was like, what?  Neoconservatism?  Oh, never head of it ::)  "we warned you all along ::)"--Hannity  They did a 180 on Ron Paul after that.  That's when it seems they(Fox) decided to kinda adobt a lot of what Ron Paul was saying and in the most pathetic way, they did so in a manner in which they wanted everyone to believe that's what they had been saying all along... We saw the mad rush for them to take over the tea party as their own.  We all know that was born out of the Ron Paul revolution, but they jumped on that like flys on shit, now Ron Paul is barely connected to anyone there.

But Fox didn't actually change and that's why you're now seeing the attacks on Ron Paul by Fox increase again.  Can you say "used"

And I'm sure Billy will come in and tell us all how much MSNBC sucks :D  yea, ok......

Why the duplicate thread?  Is this a different poll? http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=327469.0

Special interests choose who is president so whilst RP may do well in polls such as there he cannot win because the special interests consider him anathema.
I hate the State.
