yeah, the abortion issue is a weird one... I don't feel like I know enough about it, to be honest with you. Too many moral conflicts, and I think anyone who claims to know the 100% truth on it, well, they're lying to themselves.
Immigration is an easy one - we live here, you do not. Mine the borders, figure out a way to manage those who already snuck in. You can't deport 12 mil people whose kids are legal... you're looking for a whole lot of violence if that's the case.
Gun carry is easy issue too - do it with discretion. Carrying an AK47 into starbucks "because you can" is a total a-hole move. keep your handgun under your shirt or in a fanny pack. Don't try to intimidate people. Anyone stupid enough to carry 3 rifles into a starbucks is probably also the same a-hole to have an accidental discharge. Damn near impossible to prevent some other clods from being curious and touching it too.
I feel like I'm well versed enough on those issues to speak because, well, it's about security, land ownership and rights of self protection. When it comes to aboriton issue, I don't lecture anyone on it because I know I don't know enough about every situation where it would be considered, and neither do most people. How can a man decide it's right in some cases, and wrong in others? How can one care enough about life to be against it, but still support the death pentalty? There are dozens of other points to it that I can't wrap my mind around.
Bottom line, it's not fair to criticize me for issues where I admit I don't know enough about it, or have even developed a solid position, upon which to post here.
