I can't believe how weak that cop was.
Don't know what the context of that encounter was, but he could've been seriously injured or worse if the mob that gathered had attacked him.
As for the girl getting 'punched in the face', he merely moved her back away from him after she assaulted him. It was a glancing blow, hardly a knockout strike, but even if it had bloodied her face, he still would've been in the right, because that big bitch was out of fucking control.
The only Blacks who acted properly during the clip were the ones who encouraged their friend to calm the fuck down while the officer put the handcuffs on.

The officer stopped a man for jaywalking and the women went and butt their noses in for no reason. The officer was fully justified in his actions. As an officer we're trained in offensive and defensive skills which includes boxing and officers are free to utilize a close handed punch and striking elbows if neccessary.
The only mistake he made was trying to handle the situation with kid gloves. I would have planted her ass on the car hood, cuffed her, and thrown her into the squad car just like that and anyone that encroached my space would have been told to back up or get mase in the face. In addition, I would have called for a little backup as well
Whenever I was taking down rowdy inmates in a pod, I always kept eyes in the back of my head for other inmates to jump in because sometimes they do and if you work there long enough they will do so.
Fortunately the Seattle Police Officers Guild is standing by the officers decision as well as the union and the dept which they should. The officer did his job and while he should have used more force in subduing that lady in a quick matter, he shouldn't be punishing for defending himself. There was no racism involved whatsoever.
